This site sets exactly one cookie of its own. Everything else comes from the advertising provider, and only in line with the consent choice you make. This page lists each cookie, what it does, and how long it lasts.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store and send back on later visits. Related technologies such as local storage and pixel tags work differently but serve similar purposes, and this policy covers them too. Cookies cannot read files on your device or run programs.
A distinction matters legally: first-party cookies are set by the site you are visiting, third-party cookies by another domain loaded within the page. Advertising cookies are almost always third-party, which is why they require consent in the EU, the UK, and under Turkey's KVKK.

Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under the ePrivacy Directive, because the service cannot be provided securely without them. We set no analytics cookies of our own.
3. Advertising cookies
This site is funded by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may set cookies on their own domains such as doubleclick.net and google.com.
- If you reject: we instruct Google to serve non-personalised advertising. These ads are selected from the content of the page rather than from your browsing history, but a cookie is still used for frequency capping, reporting, and fraud prevention. This is permitted as it does not build a profile of you.
- If you accept: ads may be personalised using data Google holds about your activity across sites that use its advertising services.
- Typical identifiers include IDE, test_cookie, and __gads, with lifetimes ranging from minutes to around 13 months. The exact set is controlled by Google and can change.
4. Changing your choice
- Use the Cookie Settings link in the footer of any page to reopen the consent banner and change your answer.
- Clear cookies for this site in your browser to reset the choice entirely; the banner will reappear on your next visit.
- Manage Google's own advertising preferences at myadcenter.google.com. That setting applies across all sites using Google ads, independently of your choice here.
- Every major browser lets you block third-party cookies entirely through its privacy settings. Doing so will not affect the calculators, which work without any cookie.
5. What happens if you block cookies
All calculators continue to work. The only visible effects are that the consent banner reappears on each visit, and that the contact form may reject submissions because its anti-forgery protection depends on a session cookie.
